Apex Thermothotics is a unique line of products designed to help protect the at risk patient with diabetes. The line consists of "ready made" foot orthotics, custom foot orthotics and combination blockers that allow fabricators to quickly and effectively fabricate their own custom devices.
Everything in the thermothotic line is completely heat moldable and features a Plastazote Medium top cover for continuous protection and comfort. Plastazote is considered the standard material to go against the diabetic foot thanks to its light-weight, unmatched purity and moldability.

Consisting of a top layer of Pedzote, a fine celled EVA product designed to "mold" or take a compression set, the cells will actually collapse slightly under weight and in the case of an insole, will take a footprint. The middle layer is a Poron, a urethane foam that will not collapse. It has a compression set value of only a few percentage, so it always returns to its original thickness, yet offers excellent cushioning. The bottom yellow layer Procell Plus is "planar" and naturally remains flat. We use this firmer EVA to hold the contour shape of the insole. Each pack contains 3 pairs. |
